Ted DiBiase Jr. is already stepping back into the wrestling world after being cleared in his federal case, with his first public wrestling appearance now officially announced.
WrestleCon confirmed that the former WWE Superstar will appear at its Las Vegas event, marking his first wrestling-related appearance since a Mississippi jury found him not guilty on all 13 charges tied to the welfare fraud case last month.
The appearance will take place across all four days of WrestleCon from April 16 through April 19 at the Horseshoe in Las Vegas, giving fans their first chance to see DiBiase Jr. at a wrestling event since his legal battle began. WrestleCon made the announcement public with a message confirming his role at the convention.
“Presented by 123 Talent come meet ex-WWE superstar @TedDibiase! Ted will be available all four days for photos & autographs.”
DiBiase Jr.’s return to the wrestling scene comes shortly after the conclusion of a lengthy legal fight. On March 20, a Mississippi jury found him not guilty on all 13 charges he had been facing, including embezzlement, conspiracy, money laundering, and wire fraud.
The case was tied to the Mississippi welfare fraud scandal, which also involved other members of the DiBiase family and former NFL quarterback Brett Favre. If convicted, DiBiase Jr. had been facing the possibility of decades in federal prison, making the verdict a major turning point in his life.
Now, with his first appearance locked in, DiBiase Jr. is making it clear that he’s ready to step back into the public side of wrestling — even if it’s starting with fan appearances rather than an in-ring return.
Do you think Ted DiBiase Jr.’s WrestleCon appearance is the start of a bigger return to wrestling, or will he keep things limited to appearances like this? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know.
