Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest reunited as the Terror Twins on tonight’s (Dec. 12) episode of WWE SmackDown in a mixed tag team match against Aleister Black and Zelina Vega.
As the match was about to start, Michael Cole pointed out that the Terror Twins are undefeated in mixed tag team matches in WWE. Corey Graves countered that by saying Aleister and Zelina automatically have “next level chemistry” as a team because they are married. Something had to give.
It turns out that next level chemistry is overrated, because Zelina had a rough night in the ring. The spot that will be talked about the most by fans is this botched Code Red attempt late in the bout, where it looked like someone could have been very badly injured.
After they redid the Code Red spot and Rhea kicked out of the pin, it was just a matter of time until the babyfaces hit the heels with stereo Razor’s Edges. Ripley then finished off Zelina with Riptide for the three count and win. But I’m not sure that anybody walked away from this main event match happy.
