KT Racing confirms the next season of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown will release “at the end of March.”
Originally set to arrive in January, KT Racing has confirmed that Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown’s Season 6 update will release “at the end of March.” An exact date has yet to be announced, however.
In terms of new vehicles, Season 6 will expand the roster with the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series (online store), Lamborghini Temerario (Solar Pass Level 15), Pagani Huayra Roadster (Italian Dealership), Pininfarina B95 (Solar Pass Level 50) and a newly confirmed car: the Bentley Continental GTC Speed.
With its 6.0-litre W12 engine producing 771 hp, the Continental GTC Speed is Bentley’s most powerful convertible production car Bentley. In Solar Crown, it will be purchasable in the game’s recently added online store.
Detailed in a developer blog on Steam, Season 6 will introduce enhanced northern areas in Hong Kong Island, with more detail and a greater variety of buildings, among other improvements. This will follow the reworked southern areas added in Season 5.
Also headlining Season 6 are the return of Detective missions from Test Drive Unlimited 2 where you must follow target cars without being spotted. KT Racing teases that “these missions aren’t just tailing like they were in TDU2,” with more details to be announced in the run up to Season 6.
In addition, the next season will add interactive clothing stores in Ibiza, a staple lifestyle feature of the original Test Drive Unlimited games. Customisation will also be expanded with official Audi Sport Performance Parts parts for the R8 RWS coupe, including spoilers, front splitters, side skirts, and rear diffusers.
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown was set to appear in this week’s Nacon Connect presentation, presumably with a preview of Season 6. However, the publisher has postponed the games showcase to May amid its ongoing financial challenges.

Furthermore, KT Racing has outlined several fixes players can expect in Season 6:
- Wheel Animation Desync On Wheels – With the implementation of multiple inputs, we’ve fixed the issue where the wheel can become desynced.
- Ferrari Portofino missing interior trim options – The Portofino now has the correct interior options.
- Gas Station AR not being disabled – Gas Stations no longer have AR when you have the AR feature off.
- Cancelling an emote with an object makes the object stay in motion – We’ve fixed this issue so you can no longer throw multiple objects in the game, although we understand some players had fun messing around with this bug.
- Ford F150 Adventurer/Nissan GTR The Tyger/BMW M4 Competition PUMA upgradepricing – We fixed the upgrade pricing of all the vehicles affected
- The Ferrari 488 Pista has the incorrect reverse/turn-signal lighting and interior/2D lens model – The 488 finally has its signature turn signal design!
- Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE rim model – We’ve fixed these rims so they are more accurately reflected with more depth.
