Macaulay Culkin Gets Physical with Swoggle in 2017
If Macaulay Culkin isn’t thumb wrestling WWE Superstars, he’s mixing it up with independent ones. In the 2010s, Macaulay Culkin launched his Bunny Ears media platform, where he doubled down on his love for pro wrestling. He even changed his Instagram handle to be @Caulkamania, in reference to WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan’s Hulkamania movement.
Around this time, Macaulay Culkin made an appearance for Bar Wrestling’s Christmas Special. He accompanied Joey Ryan, Candice LeRae, and Dick Justice to the ring as they faced Peter Avalon, Ray Rosas, and Swoggle in a Six-Person Tag Match.
As the match broke down, the former child actor channeled his inner Kevin McAllister to use some Home Alone pranks to neutralize Peter Avalon and Ray Rosas. The My Girl star threw balls into the ring to trip the foes.
Then, Culkin entered the ring, getting into a shoving match with Swoggle. The man behind Kevin McAllister got the best of the exchange, shoving the former son of Vince McMahon to the ground. He’d then take Swoggle out by throwing a paint can at the former Cruiserweight Champion.
Finally, Culkamania embraced RVD with his “Half Star Splash” on Swoggle. Dick Justice, clad in a Santa costume, would cover the fallen Swoggle to get the win.
While Macaulay Culkin got physical with Swoggle, this isn’t the first time theycrossed paths. In fact, Hornswoggle and Macaulay Culkin used to be on the same page!
Macaulay Culkin Helps Hornswoggle with Home Alone Antics Against Chavo Guerrero
Before Chavo Guerrero became the wrestling expert on Hollywood sets, the former ECW Champion did his own stunts. In 2009, Chavo Guerrero had a long-standing rivalry with Hornswoggle, where the smaller star would get the best of the Mexican Warrior on a weekly basis.
Around this time, Chavo Guerrero faced Hornswoggle in a Falls Count Anywhere Match on Raw. The action spilled backstage, where the leprechaun hid in a locker room. Chavito thought he found Swoggle, but found a paint can to his head for his trouble.
Much like Marv and Harry of the Wet Bands, Chavo Guerrero was nailed with a paint can when he opened the door. The metal can took Chavo out, allowing Hornswoggle to make the pin.
As Chavo came to, he ran into Swoggle’s former partner, Mark Henry. Chavo accused The World’s Strongest Man of rigging the paint can, but the big man denied the allegations through a fit of laughter. Finally, Macaulay Culkin left the locker room, shocking Chavo Guerrero. The chill Kevin McAllister said, “What?” and walked away nonchalantly.
With Macaulay Culkin becoming an audience icon, it would make sense for him to work with WWE again. Perhaps he can actually work a match in the near future!
