“That’s what God ultimately tests…”Virat Kohli makes a bold revelation about the tough phase in his career

Indian cricket player Virat Kohli has reached incredible heights in his career, making him one of the best players ever. However, Kohli also faced a tough time when he wasn’t performing as well as he usually does.

For a while, it looked like Kohli would match the amazing batting records of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar. But there was a period of more than 1000 days when he couldn’t score a century in international cricket games.

He focused on improving his skills, altered his playing style, and took a break from cricket to refresh himself, which led to varied outcomes. His long wait concluded during the Asia Cup 2022 when he achieved his first and only T20 international century.

Shortly after, his scoring increased, and he became the first player to hit 50 centuries in ODI matches.

In a video that’s widely shared on social media, Kohli shared details about his dedication and attitude during the toughest time in his career.

“When you’re not feeling good and you don’t want to work or go to practice or train hard, it’s important to handle those times carefully and accept things as they are,” Kohli mentioned in the video.

Kohli believes that it’s essential to respect every part of life and stay dedicated to putting in the effort, even when it’s tough.

“But as a person, you respect all stages of life, and even when things are tough, you’re dedicated to doing the difficult work, not just for success. That, to me, is what really matters, because that’s what God ultimately tests. That’s my view, and if you can’t handle that test, you’re not showing gratitude or loyalty to the chance you’ve been given,” he said.

Kohli is nearing the end of his international career, having recently retired from T20 cricket after India won the World Cup in the Caribbean. He is currently in London taking a break, and will return to play next month when India hosts Bangladesh for a two-match Test series.
