At club level, women’s team use of facilities is secondary to the men’s. So there is little or no way too invest exclusively in the women’s game apart from changing rooms. Sorry – Rob Andrew hasn’t got a clue

Could counties second grounds become women’s hubs? A lot of local netball is played at a single location so no home or away – could this help county and local clubs?

Melie Kerr led the white ferns superbly but they also as a team stepped up, as they transition from dependency on legends of the women’s game.

One worry is the TV profile of the women’s game in NZ as they move from TVNZ to Sky, you’d have thought they would’ve learnt from England.

Finally, this World Cup season will disrupt the development of the domestic game, but also give some players opportunities too shine. Let’s hope more of the latter
