Robert Stone has officially earned a major promotion.
Taking to social media, Stone revealed that he is now the full-time General Manager of WWE NXT. In his announcement, he expressed gratitude to William Regal, Shawn Michaels, and the fans for their support.
Stone had been serving as interim General Manager since the February 3 episode of NXT, stepping into the role after Ava (Simone Johnson) departed WWE on January 30. Prior to that, he worked closely alongside Ava as her assistant during her tenure as GM.
To cap off Tuesday night’s episode of NXT, Stone made a big championship announcement, confirming that Joe Hendry will defend the NXT Title in a fatal four-way match against Ricky Saints, Ethan Page, and Tony D’Angelo at NXT Stand & Deliver.
