More than just a golf event—this fun-filled evening is dedicated to helping students take their next step to higher education
Every year, the Haggin Oaks putting green transforms from a practice area into something much bigger — a place where short putts create long-term opportunities. On Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 6:00 PM, the Morton Golf Foundation invites the community back for one of its most meaningful traditions: the Putting Party for a Cause.

A Fun Competition Anyone Can Play
You don’t need to be a golfer to participate — you just need a team and a willingness to have fun.

Teams of five will putt 18 holes on the Haggin Oaks putting green, competing for prizes while enjoying food, beverages, and music in a relaxed, social atmosphere.
Entry: $1,000 per five-person team
Participants are encouraged to bring their own putter, but clubs will be available for both left- and right-handed players so everyone can join in. Because at this event, the goal isn’t perfect technique — it’s participation.

The Impact Behind the Event
The Putting Party exists for one reason: opportunity.
100% of all funds raised go directly toward college scholarships, recognizing graduating seniors for their achievements as they continue their education.
After the competition, guests gather to celebrate the scholarship recipients — often the most memorable moment of the night. You’ll hear their stories, learn where they’re headed next, and see firsthand how the community is shaping their future.
It’s golf doing what golf does best — bringing people together to support something bigger than the game.

Join the Tradition
The Foundation’s goal is to fill at least 18 teams and continue growing the impact year after year. Whether you bring coworkers, friends, or family, every team helps change a life.
