Ahead of the 2026 event, Federer shares three records with Djokovic, one of which he could break at this year’s tournament.
Federer and Djokovic are currently locked at the top for most titles at Indian Wells, with the pair currently at five wins.
If Djokovic wins Indian Wells, he will take yet another ATP record from Federer, reducing the Swiss star’s tally to seven outright records.

Federer might hold a considerable amount of records at Indian Wells, even if Djokovic does win this year’s event, but he’s not been able to taste victory against his Serbian rival.
Djokovic and Federer have met three times at Indian Wells, all of which have gone the way of the 24-time Grand Slam champion.
The pair met in 2011, 2014, and 2015, with each match going the distance, but Djokovic came out on top each time.
Djokovic knocked Federer out of the competition at the semi-final stage, and beat him in two incredible finals.
