Game Changer Wrestling announced that the ECW icon will wrestle his final match at Spring Break 10 on April 17 in Las Vegas. No opponent has been revealed yet, but the stage is set for one last entrance, one last beer, and one last cane shot.
This isn’t the first time The Sandman has popped up during Spring Break weekend. At last year’s event, he made a surprise appearance during Sabu’s farewell match against Janela. Now, a year later, it’s the hardcore legend’s turn to take his final walk.
At 62, James Fullington is finally wrapping up a career that started in 1989 and has spanned nearly 900 matches. He’s best remembered for his run in ECW, where he became a cult hero—beer in one hand, cane in the other, and Enter Sandman echoing through the arena as he marched through the crowd. He holds five ECW World Heavyweight Title reigns, more than anyone else in company history.
After ECW, he hit WCW, TNA, and WWE during its ECW revival era. His most recent match was back in October 2025 for an indie show in New Jersey—but Vegas will be his final stop.
Joey Janela’s Spring Break has never been short on chaos, but this one’s personal. It’s the last call for The Sandman.
