I have been feeling wistful while finally getting around to processing some photos from late last season.

As of this writing, we’re in the middle of a deep freeze in this part of Michigan, with the “Real Feel” at -7F. I am struggling to remember the last time we had such a stretch of bone-chilling cold.

My favorite time for golf in Michigan is in the fall, a season which is all-too-brief, and portends the arrival of the polar express. Most fall days in Michigan are glorious and perfect for golf. In my two years since retiring from school teaching, I have sought to maximize my fall golf time, playing every day, either at Washtenaw Golf Club or adding another course to “collection” of courses played.
