The Ari Superior Peak is getting some updates for 2026 with upgrades across suspension, wheel configuration, and component package, arriving just in time for riding season. Already proven in the world’s biggest freeride competitions and most demanding race tracks, the Superior Peak remains Ari’s dedicated downhill bike, but it’s also one of the most affordable freeride and DH bikes on the market, especially for someone who is looking for a versatile race-bike that can still pull double-duty in the bike park or on freeride lines.

What’s New: MX Wheels, New Build Kits
Ari Bikes
For 2026, the Superior Peak ships in a mixed wheel configuration (29” front, 27.5” rear). This is what people have been asking for, and Ari has delivered. Riders who prefer a matched setup can still run a full 29” configuration front and rear. Paired with 200mm of travel and Ari’s Tetra Link suspension platform.
New RockShox BoXXer Fork
SRAM
Available in both Select and Ultimate trims, the new RockShox BoXXer D2 generation dual-crown fork features Butter Cups and Butterwagon technology for a buttery-smooth on-trail feel, bold new graphics, and the Linear XL air spring for a more coil-like feel. Ultimate models come in the stunning Electric Red colorway.
Mixed Wheel As Standard
Superior Peak gives riders choices. As demand for mixed wheel setups increased, Ari has listened to riders and now offers the Superior Peak with a 29’’ front wheel and 27.5’’ rear wheel as the default configuration. The mixed wheel setup provides confidence up front and agility in the back. Full 29’’ compatibility remains for riders who want maximum rollover.
New SRAM Maven Silver Brakes
SRAM
Maven’s revised SwingLink delivers a smoother initial lever pull with reduced breakaway force, giving riders smooth, predictable control. Additionally, sintered metallic brake pads are now offered as a stock option on the Maven, providing ultimate power right out of the gate.
Crankbrothers Synthesis DH Alloy Wheels
Full silver colorway and a lifetime warranty. Tuned for front and rear specific performance to handle the demands of bike parks and racing. Synthesis wheels are ready to charge.
SRAM XX DH Compatible
SRAM
Compatible with the latest SRAM XX DH Transmission drivetrain via a UDH rear dropout for durability and drivetrain precision. The Superior Peak has already proven itself on the biggest stages. It will compete this season with the Ari Factory Race Team at the full Crankworx series and the Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series. It was also raced throughout last season and secured the Pro Women’s overall title in the 2025 Monster Energy Downhill Series.
Adjustable Geometry
Ari Bikes
The Superior Peak is built around a 4-way adjustable geometry system that lets riders fine-tune fit and handling to their exact preferences. Adjustable chainstay length and bottom bracket height let you dial in stability or sharpen angles for better handling, depending on the trail or riding style. Two shock progression adjustment mount positions give you further control over how the suspension feels – making the Superior Peak adaptable to terrain, riding style, and coil and air shock die-hards.
Who Is the 2026 Superior Peak Built For?
Ari Bikes
If you’re a competitive downhill racer, a bike park regular, or a freeride rider who wants a platform that you can tweak to your riding rather than the other way around, the Superior Peak is worth consideration. The combination of modern geometry adjustability, proven suspension, and a mixed-wheel option gives it genuine versatility at a price that is quite reasonable, especially given the new updates to component spec and its pedigree in both freeride and downhill racing.
