Steve Kerr admits turnovers and rebounding cost Golden State Warriors the win

Steve Kerr spoke to reporters after the Golden State Warriors’ loss to the Toronto Raptors and admitted that it was his fault that the team ended up losing.

Kerr added that the turnovers became a huge problem, but also their lack of rebounding cost them. He also pointed to Al Horford’s minutes restriction with the Warriors as a reason for the loss.

“It was just turnovers at the end of the third and the end of the fourth. We just got scattered. I’ve got to get us better organized in those stretches, that’s on me.

Golden State Warriors need big man presence of Anthony Davis

These comments from Steve Kerr make it clear that the Warriors need a star-level big man to try and compete for an NBA championship.

Their lack of size and interior presence has cost them greatly, and they have had to try and figure out different solutions. Perhaps landing a big man like Anthony Davis can help their chances.

While the Dallas Mavericks might want to keep Davis, his presence on the team puts the Mavericks in an unfortunate position – not good enough to compete, but not bad enough to earn a high lottery pick.

Perhaps the Warriors can make an offer for Davis that makes the Mavericks reconsider the idea of keeping the former champion for a few more months.
