This Work of Virat Kohli left Sunil Gavaskar stunned, Check the details inside

Starring Indian cricket team’s batter Virat Kohli is back to practice immediately after their team’s woes in the hands of Australia in the pink-ball Test in Adelaide. Kohli was back to the nets as fast bowlers hurled balls at him immediately after the end of the match. The first Test saw Kohli score a magnificent century but this time at Adelaide, the star batter found it hard to put runs on the board. He scored just 7 and 11 in the two innings and Australia strolled to a comfortable 10-wicket victory. Legendary India skipper Sunil Gavaskar was impressed by Virat’s dedication and he said that the rest of the players also need to learn from Virat.

“He shows his dedication by going out in the nets today. But that’s what I would like to see from everybody else. He has not scored runs. He is very proud of what he achieves and does for India, and because he has not scored runs in this game, he is out in the nets.”

“He’s working hard, he’s sweating, and that’s what you want to see. After that if you get out, no problem, because that’s what sport is all about – you will get runs one day, will get wickets one day, next day you will not. But you’ve got to put in the effort. He is putting in the hard yards, he is putting in the effort, and that’s why I won’t be surprised if he’s back amongst the runs in the next game,” Gavaskar said on Star Sports.

Australia, thus maintained perfect Pink-ball Test records by registering a 10-wicket victory against a completely hapless India, bringing the five-Test series to 1-1 in just under two and a half days.

It ended as the shortest ever Test in India-Australia history judging by the number of balls bowled.

Beginning the day at 128 for 5, Nitish Kumar Reddy’s (42) cavalier approach has ensured that there would not be a second consecutive innings defeat under lights at Adelaide, as India were bowled out for 175.

The target of 19 runs became a mere formality, and it was comfortably brought up within 3.2 overs.

India batted through when the second innings came to only 36.5 overs. As for the skipper, he has taken 5 for 57 from the new ball, and Scott Boland (3/51) was particularly damaging up front, while Mitchell Starc (2/60) shared in some important dismissals.

It did not even take Mitchell Marsh, and Nathan Lyon were not needed by Cummins to bowl in the second innings, such was the dominance of the three premier quicks. In fact, the specialist spinner and all-rounder bowled just five between them in the whole game.

They just won a dead easy match by 295 runs on Perth, and they are now informed that they lasted all of 81 overs in both innings, which is not even a whole day test match batting.
