This young all rounder replaces Jeremiah Louis in the West Indies squad ahead of the final test against England

Fast bowler Jeremiah Louis will miss the final Test against England because of a hamstring injury. The West Indies have chosen Akeal Jordan, another fast bowler, to take Louis’ place in the third Test. Jordan has played two one-day internationals for the West Indies but has not yet played in a Test match. He will join the team on July 24 and will train at Edgbaston, where the last Test will be held. Louis, who did not play in the series, got hurt during the second match at Trent Bridge. He will still travel with the team to get treatment.

Jordan is waiting for his chance to play in a major cricket match, and he has done well in smaller games in the past. He has been part of 19 important matches, where he has taken 67 wickets with an average score of 24.1, including two times when he took five wickets in a row. Along with Jordan, the West Indies team has many good fast bowlers like Jason Holder, Alzarri Joseph, Shamar Joseph, and Jayden Seales. But the series is already over, as England has won two games and cannot be beaten now. They won by a big margin in two different places. The last game of the series will start on Friday, 26 July.

The West Indies’ bowling team is likely to stay the same for the third Test, which begins on Friday, July 26. Alzarri Joseph, Shamar Joseph, Jayden Seales, and all-rounder Jason Holder have already shown what they can do in the first two Tests. The next Test is a chance for the West Indies to show their skills and depth, even though the series result is already decided.

West Indies squad: Kraigg Brathwaite (c), Alick Athanaze, Joshua Da Silva (wk), Jason Holder, Kavem Hodge, Tevin Imlach, Akeem Jordan, Alzarri Joseph (vc), Shamar Joseph, Mikyle Louis, Zachary McCaskie, Kirk McKenzie, Gudakesh Motie, Kemar Roach, Jayden Seales, Kevin Sinclair.
