Thunder Rosa’s First Match Back Announced After Seven-Month Absence

Thunder Rosa’s First Match Back Announced After Seven-Month Absence

Thunder Rosa is officially back in business — and AEW isn’t easing her into it.

After revealing on the February 18, 2026 episode of AEW Dynamite that she’s medically cleared to compete, AEW quickly followed up with the next big update: Rosa will wrestle her first match in seven months this Saturday on AEW Collision.

Her opponent? Julia Hart of the Triangle of Madness. The announcement came shortly after Rosa appeared in a backstage segment alongside Kris Statlander, where she made it clear she was cleared and ready to fight. AEW then confirmed the matchup on social media, putting a date and opponent on her long-awaited in-ring return.

“.@callmekrisstat is dead set on revenge against the newly crowned #AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla, but @thunderrosa22 is cleared and ready for a fight!”

Rosa hasn’t competed in AEW since All In Texas in July 2025. That’s seven months on the shelf for a former champion known for her intensity and physical style. Now, she’s jumping straight into a match against one of the division’s more dangerous rising stars.

Julia Hart’s connection to the Triangle of Madness makes this more than just a comeback match. Rosa isn’t stepping into a warm-up bout — she’s walking directly into chaos. With the women’s division shifting rapidly and new alliances forming, Rosa’s timing couldn’t be bigger.

Is Thunder Rosa about to reclaim her spot at the top, or will Julia Hart spoil the comeback? Drop your thoughts below and let us know how you see this playing out.
