Their partnership propelled the Kovai Kings to a respectable total.

Chasing 173, Dindigul Dragons started cautiously but lost opener Vimal Khumar early for 13 runs. Shivam Singh (36 off 33) provided some resistance but fell just as the partnership with Baba Indrajith was flourishing. Indrajith’s composure and aggressive stroke play kept Dindigul in the hunt, even as wickets fell at the other end. Shahrukh Khan was the standout bowler for Kovai, picking up 2 wickets for 20 runs in his 3 overs. Jhathavedh Subramanyan also took 2 wickets but was on the expensive side. Manimaran Siddharth and Mohammed Mohammed struggled to contain the runs, which eventually cost them the game.
