Is Toni Storm faking the violent assault that happened at Dynamite? AEW already turned the crime scene into a t-shirt.
Thekla believes Storm staged this incident, and she has good reason to her logic. During AEW Slam Dunk Collision on Saturday night (Mar. 21, 2026), the Toxic Spider took credit for the ‘murder’ in a roundabout way. Thekla bust out laughing when sending prayers to Storm for a full recovery. She accused Storm of staging the whole thing and running home, because Timeless knows that she can’t stack up to the Toxic Spider for the women’s world title. Thekla advised the whole locker room to fake their death. The reality of facing Thekla is so much worse.
With the rumors that Storm may miss an extended period of time, there is concern among fans that the women’s division may suffer in her absence. It’s true that no one can replace Storm. She is Timeless after all. I will say that showcasing more Thekla on screen would be good way to go. The Toxic Spider has a unique aura of charisma that can produce entertaining television. There’s so many little things in that promo which provide high replay value.
I don’t think Mina Shirakawa is buying that denial. AEW booked Thekla versus Mina for the title on Dynamite.
The plot thickens in this mystery, and I’ll add one more name to the suspect list, courtesy of Rob Viper.
