Tonight’s episode of RAW takes place in New York’s Madison Square Garden, and it’s now being widely reported that The Judgement Day’s Roxanne Perez is set to return.
She’s been out of action since late January after taking time off to have a benign mass removed from her back. After competing in the Royal Rumble, she showed up on the following RAW to get involved in the Philly Street Fight between Raquel Rodriguez and Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer.
The 24-year-old joined the RAW roster last year and, following Liv Morgan’s injury, took centre stage in The Judgement Day and held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships with Rodriguez. Perez is also a two-time NXT Women’s Champion and a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion.
Following Finn Balor’s expulsion from The Judgement Day, it would make sense for her to ally with him, potentially setting up a mixed tag team match at WrestleMania with Balor & Perez vs. Dominik Mysterio & Rodriguez.
We’ll have to wait and see, but WWE is definitely building to Balor and Mysterio battling on the Grandest Stage of Them All. With Morgan busy chasing the Women’s World title, we’d imagine WWE will want to find a place for Perez and Rodriguez on the card.
Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Stephanie Vaquer, and Rhea Ripley are all being advertised for appearances on RAW, while a handful of matches have also been announced for the show:
World Tag Team Championship Street Fight
The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso) (c) vs. Logan Paul and Austin Theory (The Vision)
Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
Nia Jax and Lash Legend (c) vs. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria
Intercontinental Championship Open Challenge
Penta (c) vs. TBD
Iyo Sky vs. Raquel Rodriguez
“I think it’s the perfect way for me to come into the main roster, especially with the history they have,” Perez said last year of joining The Judgement Day. “And I think it’s one of the biggest factions in WWE history, they’ve been able to do so much in such a short amount of time.”
Explaining her approach to being a heel, she added, “Eddie Guerrero is probably my top one that I always watch, and just his mannerisms and the way he wrestled, and even in his entrance. It’s like he’s not doing much, but he is with his face and so him for sure. CM Punk, he was one of my favorite heels growing up. AJ Lee, Alexa Bliss’ Goddess era, so many but I think those are like my top inspos.”
