Top 10: Australian Openers with Most Test Runs

Australia is arguably the most dominant Test team in the world and historically they have had wood over most of the other teams in the longest format of the game. With 414 Test wins in 866 matches (232 losses), they sit at the top as the most successful Test side in history and no other has a W/L percentage of more than 1.5 apart from the Aussies.

While the Aussies have produced world-class bowlers through generations, their batters are no less than exceptional, showing ruthlessness to demolish any bowling attack. This attitude made them world beaters and it starts from their openers who usually set up the game. In this article, we will list down Australian openers who have scored the most runs for the side.
