Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have ended their campaign in the ongoing IPL 2025 in the same manner they started it — by scoring a huge total.
While the last season’s finalists failed to qualify for the playoffs this year, their performance in the last game has shown that they will be challenging for the title next year. The Pat Cummins-led side started its campaign by scoring 286/6 against the Rajasthan Royals.
And in their last game of the season, they posted a daunting total of 278/3 against reigning champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday (May 25). It was a one-way traffic after Cummins won the toss and opted to bat first.

Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head gave their team a solid start by adding 92 runs in just 41 balls for the first wicket. The partnership ended when Abhishek departed for 32 runs. Head, on the other hand, went on to score 76 runs before being dismissed by Sunil Narine.
Heinrich Klaasen was promoted to number three, and the wicketkeeper-batsman grabbed the opportunity with both hands. He smashed a 37-ball century to help his side post the mammoth total. Klaasen remained unbeaten on 105 runs off just 39 balls with the help of 7 fours and 9 sixes.
