Former Indian captain Mithali Raj has scored the most number of runs (7805) in Women’s ODIs cricket. She has amassed runs with an impressive average of 50.68. Mithali’s ODI average is the highest in ODIs in Women’s cricket among players with 150 matches. She has also hit the highest number of the fifties (64) in ODIs. Mitali Raj is the highest runs scorer (10454) in Women’s international cricket.
Charlotte Edwards
Former English skipper Charlotte Edwards comes in the 2nd place on the basis of making the most runs in ODIs. Charlotte has amassed 5992 runs in 191 matches with a captivating average of 38.16. She has smacked 7 hundred and 46 half-centuries in his career of years (1997-2016). She also holds the weird record of having the most number of Ducks (16) in the Women’s ODI.
Suzie Bates
Current Kiwi women cricketer, Suzie Bates makes it to the list, scoring 5718 runs in 163 One Day matches. With a staggering average of 40.55, Bates has claimed 13 centuries and 34 fifties. Her 13 centuries in ODI is the 2nd most by any player in Women’s ODI. Her best in the ODIs came in the 2009 World Cup against Pakistan, she ripped through Pakistan’s bowling lineup with 168 runs in 105 balls.
Stefanie Taylor
Stefanie Taylor is the 4th highest run-getter in ODIs in Women’s cricket, with 5691 runs in 160 matches, including a high score of 171. Stefanie’s ODI average is 43.11. She is also the highest run-getter for West Indies in international cricket. Taylor holds a unique record also of smacking a century and getting 4 wickets in a single inning of a Women’s ODI.
BJ Clark
Former Australian cricketer Belinda Clark gets the 5th spot on the list of amassing the most number of runs in Women’s ODIs. Clark has scored 4844 runs in 118 ODIs with a commendable average of 47.49. Her career was of 15 years (1991-2005). Clark is the first player in ODI cricket history to score a double century, 229* against Denmark in the 1997 Women’s World Cup.
KL Rolton
Ex-Australian cricketer Karen Rolton has amassed the 5th most number of runs in Women’s ODIs, 4814 runs in 141 matches with an impressive average of 48.14. Rolton scored 8 centuries and 33 half-centuries in her long career of 14 years (1995-2009). Her highest score in ODI is 154*. She has appeared in the ODI cricket 3rd most number of times (141). Rolton was also a part of the 1995 & 2005 Women’s World Cup-winning Australian side.
