Suzie Bates
Kiwi cricketer Suzie Bates has scored the most runs in Women’s T20, 4274 runs in 158 matches (155 innings) with a decent average of 29.88. Suzie has also hit the most number of the fifties (28) in the format. Her batting stats demonstrate how consistent she has been in this format. Along with runs, Bates has taken 58 T20 wickets also. Being the top scorer in the format as an all-rounder is a rare achievement.
Meg Lanning
Australian top-order batsman Meg Lanning has amassed the 2nd most number of runs in Women’s T20, 3405 runs in 132 matches (121 innings). Her average is 36.61 which is quite captivating, and very few players have maintained this. Lanning has smashed 2 centuries in the T20I.
Harmanpreet Kaur
The current skipper of the Indian women’s cricket team, Harmanpreet Kaur has made 3344 runs so far in 168 matches, which is 3rd most in women’s T20 cricket. Kaur is one of the best sloggers in women’s cricket, bashing the bowlers at a good strike rate of 107.07. Harmanpreet Kaur’s 103 against New Zealand is the highest score by an Indian in women’s T20.
Stafanie Taylor
Caribbean captain Stafanie Taylor comes in the 4th position in terms of scoring the most runs in T20 cricket. She has amassed 3338 runs in 121 matches (118 innings) with an impressive average of 35.13 which is the 4th highest in Women’s T20. Stafanie is also the 3rd most 50 scorer (22) in the T20s. With three-dimensional ability, Tha Jamaican stalwart is the backbone of the West Indies Women’s side.
Smriti Mandhana
Indian star opener Smriti Mandhana recently surpassed Deandra Dottin to be in 5th place on the elite most runs in Women’s t20 tally. In 135 T20I matches, the stylish Southpaw has accumulated 3266 runs at a staggering strike rate of 121.63. Mandhana has hit 23 fifties in the format, which is the most by any Indian in women’s T20.
Sophie Devine
Ace Kiwi all-rounder Sophie Devine is featured in the 6th spot on the tally of the most runs in women’s T20. Having played 131 T20s, Devine has accumulated 3184 runs at a decent average of 28.68. Devine has 19 fifties in her name which is 2nd most by any New Zealand batter in Women’s T20.
Chamari Athapaththu
The Current captain of the Lankan women’s team Chamari Athapaththu has scored the 7th most number of runs in Women’s T20, 2997 runs in 131 matches (129 innings) with a decent average of 23.65. Her strike rate is 108.67. Chamari has smashed more than 69 sixes and 391 fours in the format. She has grabbed 29 wickets also with the ball.
Bismah Maroof
Current Pakistani skipper Bismah Maroof finds herself in 9th place on the list of making the most number of runs in Women’s T20. She has accumulated 2893 runs in 140 matches (129 innings) with a decent average of 27.55. She has smacked as many as 12 half-centuries in the shortest format of the game. The opener’s contribution to winning the game for her country is massive.
