1. Mohammad Rizwan (Pakistan), 2021 – 1326 runs
The Pakistan wicketkeeper batter was on the top of his game during the whole of 2021. Rizwan crossed the 50-run mark on 13 occasions in the T20I format throughout the year.
2. Suryakumar Yadav (India), 2022 – 1164 runs
The Indian batter was on a role throughout 2022 and helped the Men in Blue win several T20I matches through his magnificent knocks. Suryakumar crossed the 50-run mark on 11 occasions in 2022.
3. Mohammad Rizwan (Pakistan), 2022 – 996 runs
The wicketkeeper batter remained in spectacular form in the shortest format of the game throughout 2022 as well. As an opener, Rizwan played great innings to take Pakistan home in many T20Is. He crossed the 50-run mark on 10 occasions in 2022.
4. Babar Azam (Pakistan), 2021 – 939 runs
The Pakistan skipper in T20Is remained consistently in a fantastic form throughout 2021. He contributed a lot in Pakistan reaching the T20 World Cup 2021 final both as a captain and as a batter. He crossed the 50-run mark on 10 occasions in 2021.
5. Muhammad Waseem (UAE), 2023 – 863 runs
The UAE batter carried the UAE side on his shoulders in many matches and performed brilliantly with the bat to take them to victory. Waseem is arguably UAE’s best batter in T20Is. He crossed the 50-run mark on 7 occasions in 2023.
