The Indian left-hander who recently announced his retirement from international cricket was incredible for the Men in Blue in ICC tournaments. His fantastic batting average is the biggest proof of that. Shikhar scored a total of 1238 runs which included 4 fifties and 6 hundreds in ICC events.
2. Virat Kohli (India) – 64.55
India’s star batter has played some great knocks for the Men in Blue in ICC tournaments. His great batting average shows how the Indian team has relied on him on many occasions. Kohli has scored a total of 2324 runs which includes 17 fifties and 5 hundreds in ICC events.
3. Saeed Anwar (Pakistan) – 63.36
The Pakistan opener helped in giving his side great starts. He especially gave superb batting performances in ICC tournaments and contributed greatly whenever Pakistan had to chase or post a big total. Anwar scored a total of 1204 runs which included 4 fifties and 5 hundreds in ICC events.
4. Vivian Richards (West Indies) – 63.31
The 2-time ODI World Cup winner was fantastic for West Indies in the tournament. He played a major role in West Indies’ 1979 triumph as he smashed a century against England in the final. Richards scored a total of 1013 runs which included 5 fifties and 3 hundreds in ICC events.
5. Kane Williamson (New Zealand) – 63.00
The former New Zealand skipper has been terrific for the Black Caps in ICC tournaments. Williamson played some fine knocks during the 2015 and 2019 ODI World Cups and led his side to the final in both the editions. He scored a total of 1512 runs which included 9 fifties and 3 hundreds in ICC events.
