4. Nathan Lyon (Australia) – 8/64
Lyon would turn out to be the star performer for Australia in their low-scoring encounter against India in Indore in 2023. He would pick up 3 important wickets as India would get bowled out for 109 runs in their first innings. Lyon’s 8-wicket haul in the second innings would prove to be too good for the Men in Blue as they would only manage to put up a total of 163 before getting bundled out. 5. Matt Henry (New Zealand) – 7/23
Henry is the only pacer on the list so far. The Kiwi bowler dominated against the South African batting order in Christchurch in 2022. His incredible and economical 7-wicket haul would see the Proteas crumble and get bundled out for only 95 runs in their first innings. In return, New Zealand would post a massive total of 482 before Henry would take 2 more wickets in the visitors’ second innings to help the hosts bundle them out for 111 runs and convincingly win the match by an innings and 276 runs.
