1. Adam Gilchrist (Australia) – 33 centuries

The Australian is one of the finest wicketkeepers to ever play the game. Gilchrist was well-known for aggressive playstyle which he also used in Test cricket. He used to smash centuries while facing less than 100 balls which at that time was a big deal. His career-best inning came during a Test match against South Africa in 2002 where he played an unbeaten knock of 204 runs.

2. Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka) – 30 centuries

Sangakkara is undoubtedly among the best batters to ever grace the game. Along with being an exceptional batter, he was also a fantastic wicketkeeper and a brilliant leader as well. His best score while playing as a wicketkeeper came during a Test against Pakistan in 2002 where he scored an incredible knock of 230 runs. Though Sangakkara scored a total of 63 centuries throughout his illustrious career, 30 out of them came while he was playing as a wicketkeeper.

3. Quinton de Kock (South Africa) – 28 centuries

The South African has proved to be a crucial player for the Proteas especially in the one-day format, scoring 21 centuries so far in his already successful career. His career-best knock came during an ODI against Australia in 2016 where he decimated the Aussies and scored 178 runs.

4. AB de Villiers (South Africa) – 17 centuries

The wicketkeeper batter was one of the most important players in the star-studded South African lineup for years. He was a fine player in both the Test and ODI format scoring several centuries and taking the Proteas to victory. De Villiers scored a total of 47 centuries in international cricket, but 17 of them came while he was playing as a wicketkeeper. His finest inning as a wicketkeeper came in a Test match against Australia in 2012 where he played a magnificent knock of 169 runs.

5. MS Dhoni (India) – 16 centuries

The Indian wicketkeeper-batter is undoubtedly the most successful Indian captain in history with 3 ICC trophy triumphs. Along with being a fantastic skipper, he was also a great batter who stepped up for India when they needed it the most. His career-best knock came against Australia in a Test match in 2013 where he played an amazing knock of 224 runs.
