Topeak has added the Zi:RAK range to its on-bike luggage category. Designed around a sturdy, but lightweight construction, Zi:RAK is compatible with most types of gravel, road and hardtail mountain bikes and with tyre widths up to 700x55c / 29×2.6”.
The range comprises of 2 main models, Zi:RAK and Zi:RAK Essential, each being available in either Quick-Mount or traditional Eyelet Mount, or an optional axle mount available separately.
The Zi:RAK features a 3-in-1 panel system compatible with Topeak’s QuickTrack MTX 2.0 Trunkbags, and also with MIK and Racktime SNAPIT 2.0 systems. It also has side frames for pannier bags, providing greater luggage carrying capacity.
Zi:RAK Essential is a more minimalist design, weighing just 660g for the eyelet mount, or 720g for the Quick-Mount. This model has side frames for mounting pannier bags and can be used with the dedicated Topeak U-Shell Carrier (TA2422) and Drybag (TC5105B) available separately.
Both Zi:RAK and Zi:RAK Essential feature standard 64mm spaced luggage mounts on the side struts to add additional storage or accessories, and the racks are compatible with a dedicated thru-axle system to give an even cleaner, more integrated look. Available in 12×1.0, 1.5, 1.75 and SRAM UDH variants. axles are available separately from £24.99 SRP. For added safety, the Topeak Redlite 60 (TMS120) can be fitted to the rear of the rack.
