Toss Delayed due to a Wet Outfield

The toss of the first test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh has been delayed due to a wet outfield caused by heavy rain in the city of Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

The test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh is a part of the ongoing World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle as both sides prepare to outperform each other and strengthen their respective positions in the overall WTC Standings.

Both the teams have faced each other in 13 Test matches and out of these 13 games, the Shaheens have had the upper hand as they have managed to reign supreme on 12 occasions while one match ended as a draw.

48 overs will be bowled on the first day of the first test as the final session will begin at 4:40pm PST following the conclusion of the Tea break. The match will continue till 6:00pm PST but umpires can extend the play by 30 minutes inorder to complete the overs of the day.
