Travis Kelce and his fiancée, Taylor Swift, have a lot to celebrate this offseason.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has not yet announced whether he will retire or return to the team, but one important future event is already set — his upcoming wedding.
Kelce and fiancée Taylor Swift are engaged and expected to tie the knot later this year. As the world waits for Kelce’s decision about his future with the Chiefs, some news is emerging about the lavish wedding rumored to be taking place in June.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Set to Wed in Swanky Venue
While the couple has remained tight-lipped about details of their wedding, some details have already emerged. The New York Post’s Page Six was able to find out the likely date, which is late in the spring.
“Taylor Swift cut a hefty check to snag a bride’s wedding date at a posh Rhode Island venue, Page Six is told,” the report noted. “Multiple sources tell us that the billionaire pop superstar wanted to marry her fiancé, Travis Kelce, at Ocean House in Watch Hill on Saturday, June 13, 2026.”
USA Today’s Allison Tibaldi shared more insider information this week about their rumored venue. Tibaldi noted that the property is “intimate,” with 46 guest rooms and 23 suites. There are also “a collection of cottages that offer privacy for the high-profile guests who will likely be joining the festivities.”
Tibaldi added that the venue is surrounded by natural beauty.
“It’s situated on one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen, a serene stretch of white sand fringed with dune grass,” Tibaldi wrote. “While I’ve never been to a wedding at Ocean House, it’s not hard to imagine how appealing a beach wedding would be. If Swift doesn’t want a sandy ceremony, the manicured South Lawn with its impressive ocean views would be equally stunning.”
Tibaldi was also able find some apparent confirmation for the rumored date, with rooms taking a dramatic increase in price around the wedding weekend.
“But if you look at June 12-13, 2026, the price jumps to $9,500,” Tibaldi reported. “Moreover, they’re marked as ‘restricted,’ and every time you try booking, it tells you the property is unavailable that particular weekend.”
Another Decision for Travis Kelce
With the wedding fast approaching, Kelce has not yet announced whether he’ll also be preparing for another season with the Chiefs. NFL insider Ian Rapoport predicted the decision would be coming soon, noting that Kelce would only return to the Chiefs or retire, with no consideration of playing for another team.
“There has been some discussion about a potential contract,” Rapoport said. “But they want to make sure when there is a decision, he is 1,000% all in. This week, we should have some answers from Kansas City. What we know is they for sure want him back, especially considering how he played last year.”
The decisions would need to take place soon as the Chiefs begin to round out their roster for 2026. Free agency is set to start later this month, and Kelce would need a new contract to return to the Chiefs.
