India sealed a convincing series victory against Zimbabwe with a dominant 10-wicket win in the fourth T20I at the Harare Sports Club on Saturday, July 13.

This victory secured the series win for India with a scoreline of 3-1 heading into the final match on Sunday.

Zimbabwe sets a modest target

Asked to bat first after losing the toss, Zimbabwe found themselves restricted to a modest total of 152/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Skipper Sikandar Raza was the lone warrior for the hosts, providing some late impetus with his knock of 46 runs off just 28 deliveries, including two fours and three sixes. Openers Wesley Madhevere (25 runs) and Tadiwanashe Marumani (32 runs) also chipped in with valuable contributions, but the Indian bowling attack kept things tight throughout the innings.

Khaleel Ahmed (2/32) was the pick of the Indian bowlers, with two wickets.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill punish Zimbabwe bowlers

In reply, India openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill stitched together a match-winning partnership, chasing down the target with ease in just 15.2 overs without losing a wicket. Jaiswal was the aggressor, scoring a belligerent 93 runs off just 53 balls, including 13 fours and two sixes. Gill provided valuable support at the other end, contributing a well-made 58 runs off 39 deliveries with six fours and two sixes.

Jaiswal was adjudged the Player of the Match for his match-winning knock.
