Harley Cameron Comments on How “Special” It Is To Have Tony Khan As A Boss & Jon Moxley Showing Her A Lot of Guidance This Year

107.7 The Bone held a recent interview with AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champion Harley Cameron as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Cameron’s thoughts about how special it has been to have Tony Khan as a boss in AEW and pro wrestling.

“Oh yeah. Tony is passionate and he cares. We aren’t just numbers. This isn’t a thing that makes you feel like you’re a part of the machine. He will sit and be there every single match, and he will talk to you after your match and he will genuinely be excited and be thankful. The craziest thing in the world is that you’re there to do your job, but you’re treated like somebody and really seen. And I think what makes that so special is the fact that a lot of workplaces, in all industries, don’t have that. Like, how rare is it to have a boss that is that excited and passionate and cares about you as an individual.

So Tony cares about us as individuals, and I think that that is so special and it is something that we’re very lucky to have. He’s there for every single match, he’s there for every single show, he doesn’t miss anything. And then when you come back behind those curtains, he is there for you, and he’s excited for you, and he’s supportive. And I think that in itself is so special.”

Cameron also gave her thoughts about Jon Moxley and Nigel McGuinness being among the people who have helped her development as a pro wrestler for her wrestling career.

“God, Jon Moxley is another guy. He’s someone who’s showed me a lot of guidance this year. There’s just, gosh, there’s so many people that are like just a huge part of the process. I think I’ve said on record before, like in the morning I’ll go train before work and I have people like Nigel McGuinness who goes out of their way and comes in and like does training with me and so does Orange (Cassidy) all the time. Like everyone is super, super helpful and it’s really cool to know like these people don’t have to be giving me their time of day, you know? They’re established and, like, they’re doing their own thing, and yet they’re taking their time to come and do that.”
