The Elite Corporate Cricket Bash (ECCB), a 100-ball competition that will make its debut in the United Arab Emirates in November, will feature legendary coaches Andy Flower and Dav Whatmore on its advisory board, with T20 cricket legend Dwayne Bravo serving as a mentor.
The competition, which was announced earlier this week, has a USD 351,000 prize pool and will consist of 12 teams playing 36 matches over ten days.
“The 100-ball format offers something fresh and exciting, and I’m thrilled to see it making its debut in the UAE,” Whatmore said in a release.
Five bowlers bowl five ball overs in a match under the 100-ball format, which was popularly adopted by The Hundred in the UK. Each bowler is limited to four overs in a match.
