Accompanied by his wife, Umesh Yadav was seen offering prayers at the ancient temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the principal deities in Hinduism. The festival of Nag Panchami, observed by worshiping serpents and honoring Lord Shiva, holds special significance for devotees across India. Yadav’s visit to the temple was not only a spiritual gesture but also an expression of his faith as he seeks divine blessings for the challenges ahead.
The 36-year-old cricketer shared moments from his visit on Instagram, where he posted a series of photos along with a caption in Hindi, which, when translated, reads: “Best wishes on Nag Panchami. Umesh Yadav last donned the Gujarat Titans’ jersey during the 2024 IPL season, where he made a notable impact with the ball.
