Undefeated super lightweight prospect José Ángel Guerrero has officially signed a co-promotional agreement with Sampson Lewkowicz of Sampson Boxing and Eric Ibarra of TM Boxing, the promoters announced this week.

The agreement positions the rising knockout artist to make additional appearances on the global boxing platform ProBoxTV in the coming months.

Guerrero Turning Heads After Explosive ProBoxTV Debut

The 21-year-old Guerrero (11-0, 9 KOs), fighting out of Tijuana, has built a reputation as one of Mexico’s most promising young punchers.

Earlier this month, Guerrero made his debut on ProBoxTV, delivering a highlight-reel second-round knockout of previously unbeaten Jose Andres Baca Guzman (9-0).

The emphatic performance quickly caught the attention of Lewkowicz and Garry Jonas, the CEO and founder of ProBoxTV, helping finalize the new promotional agreement.

Guerrero Grateful for Opportunity

“First and foremost, I am grateful to Mr. Sampson Lewkowicz and Mr. Garry Jonas for this tremendous opportunity to showcase my talents on one of the most prominent platforms in the boxing world: ProBoxTV,” said Guerrero. “My thanks also go to Eric Ibarra and my trainer, who have stood by my side since the beginning of my career.”

Promoters Expect Guerrero to Become Major Mexican Prospect

Promoter Eric Ibarra emphasized that the deal strengthens the collaboration between the teams involved while continuing their mission to develop rising Mexican fighters.

“I am very pleased to continue fostering this friendship and collaboration with Sampson Lewkowicz,” said Ibarra. “Just as we have done with Erik Badillo and Isaac Lucero, we will now be guiding the career of José Ángel Guerrero together, aiming to elevate his profile internationally.”

“It is important to mention that Garry Jonas of PROBOX TV recently joined this great team. He played a pivotal role in finalizing this agreement and the same will hold true for our future Mexican prospects.”

Lewkowicz also expressed excitement about the addition of Guerrero to his growing stable of fighters.

“I was very impressed by José Ángel Guerrero’s performance on ProBoxTV and look forward to helping him develop his promising career, along with my two great partners, Eric Ibarra and Garry Jonas,” said Lewkowicz. “Jose represents another hard-punching young fighter who will become a force in the super lightweight division before long.”

ProBoxTV Sees Bright Future for Guerrero

ProBoxTV founder Garry Jonas echoed that sentiment, praising the continued partnership with Lewkowicz and TM Boxing.

“Sampson and TM Boxing are doing a great job recruiting and cultivating talent for ProBoxTV,” said Jonas. “We look forward to having Guerrero perform on our platform.”
