Update On WWE’s Plans For WrestleMania 42 — Report

With just mere weeks away from the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, WrestleMania season for WWE is nearly upon us.

Last week’s episode of SmackDown shocked many as it ended with Drew McIntyre defeating Cody Rhodes in a Three Stages of Hell match to win the WWE Championship.

A report yesterday revealed that WWE’s mindset is to present a different approach to WrestleMania this year. The company believes that McIntyre winning the championship will open up additional unexpected stories over the next few months.

WWE seems pretty confident in this plan, as we have a pretty important update on the company’s plans for WrestleMania 42.

According to BodySlam+, barring any injuries or unforeseen circumstances, WWE has a clear plan in place for WrestleMania 42. With a majority of the top matches on the card already penciled in.

These matches should become a lot clearer to us in the coming weeks.
