Updated Most Wickets After EDR vs PD 6 Match

The Delhi Premier League had two thrilling matches on August 29. West Delhi Lions played against North Delhi Strikers and East Delhi Riders faced Purani Delhi 6. Both games featured impressive bowling performances. These standout performances led to changes in the highest wicket-takers list, highlighting some exciting new talent.

North Delhi Kings bowlers Created Magic:

West Delhi Lions and North Delhi Strikers met each other in the 19th match of the Delhi Premier League. While bowling first, the North Delhi Kings bowlers showcased their bowling excellence. Anirudh Chowdhary secured the first wicket after dismissing Ankit Kumar-II. Suyash Sharma secured the second wicket for the team, after dismissing Krish Yadav. Anirudh Chowdhary ended up securing 2 wickets after conceding 27 runs. Suyash Sharma and Aman Bharti-I secured 2 wickets each. 

While bowling in the second innings, West Delhi Lions bowlers struggled. Rohit Yadav dismissed Vaibhav Kandpal in the second delivery of the second innings. After that, they faced setbacks to break Sarthak Ranjan and Yojas Sharma’s partnership. Navdeep Saini got another wicket. The West Delhi Lions faced a defeat of 7 wickets. 

East Delhi Riders Shined Over Purani Delhi 6:

In the 20th match of the tournament, fans witnessed a high-voltage clash between East Delhi Riders and Purani Delhi Strikers. While bowling in the first innings, Purani Delhi had a devastating performance. They failed to dominate the opponent. Skipper Lalit Yadav conceded 41 runs and secured no wickets. Shivam Sharma failed to secure any wickets even after conceding 45 runs. Aayush Singh conceded 50 runs. The opponent put on a huge target of 241 runs. 

While bowling in the second innings, the East Delhi bowlers dominated the opponent throughout. Mayank Rawat dismissed Sanat Sangwan in 7 runs. He secured his second wicket in the fifth over after dismissing Keshav Dalal. Harsh Tyagi bowled exceptionally well by securing 3 crucial wickets in 34 runs. Bhagwan Singh secured 2 wickets in 37 runs. They ended their inning in 215 runs. The East Delhi Riders won the match by 26 runs.
