USA Eagles Head coach Zack Test and his technical staff have confirmed a 12-man roster for the opening leg of the 2026 HSBC SVNS 2 Series, set for February 14–15 in Nairobi, Kenya.
The USA Men’s Eagles Sevens begin their new campaign determined to secure a top-four finish and earn promotion back to the elite SVNS 1 tier after a lengthy preseason focused on structure, clarity, and consistency.
The squad is built around a core of familiar faces who recently tested themselves at Fiji’s Coral Coast 7s, where the team faced high-level international opposition while sharpening set plays and building cohesion.
Test believes the tour to Fiji was a defining moment in shaping the team’s direction.
“Fiji gave us real clarity. When we get our details right, we’re lethal on both sides of the ball. What the trip reinforced is that success comes down to consistency, moment to moment, decision to decision, and game to game,” Test said.
EDITOR’S PICKS:
“Our objective this season is to perform in a way that earns us the right to return to SVNS 1. That means living our standards every day, discipline, work ethic, and consistency, and turning our process into performance.”
Stephen Tomasin will captain the side as the Eagles open their Nairobi campaign against Belgium, before facing Uruguay, Canada, Germany, and hosts Kenya.
