Historic Youngest Centurion Records in Youth Cricket

Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest batter to score a hundred in Youth Tests at the age of 13 years and 187 days against Australia under-19.

He is the first batter in history to score multiple centuries in Youth Tests before turning 15.

Suryavanshi holds the record for being the youngest Youth ODI centurion, achieving the feat at 14 years and 100 days against England under-19.

In July 2025, he became the youngest ever captain to score a Youth ODI century during a match against South Africa under-19.

He remains the only batter to score three or more centuries before turning 15 in Youth ODIs.


Fastest Centuries and Power Hitting Statistics

Suryavanshi smashed a 58-ball century against Australia under-19, the second-fastest in Youth Test history and the fastest by an Indian.

He recorded the fastest century in Australia in Youth Tests, reaching the milestone in just 78 balls at Brisbane.

The left-hander brought up a Youth ODI century in 52 balls against England, which stands as the second-fastest in that format.

He holds the record for the fastest century in the under-19 Asia Cup, reaching 100 runs in just 56 balls against the UAE.

Suryavanshi is the only batter to record three or more Youth ODI hundreds in fewer than 70 balls.


Record-Breaking IPL and T20 Career Milestones

At 14 years and 32 days, Suryavanshi became the youngest centurion in IPL and overall T20 history with a 38-ball 101 for Rajasthan Royals.

He reached his IPL century in 35 balls, marking the second-fastest century in the tournament’s history and the fastest by an Indian batter. While doing so, he also became one of the batters who crossed the first 50-runs mark under 18-balls in IPL.

Playing for India A, he struck a 32-ball century against the UAE, making it the joint-fourth fastest T20 century by an Indian.

His score of 144 runs for India A is the highest individual score for the team and the fifth-highest by any Indian in T20 cricket.

He became the youngest centurion in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) history, scoring an unbeaten 108 at 14 years and 250 days.


Domestic Dominance in List A and Vijay Hazare Trophy

His knock of 171 against the UAE in the under-19 Asia Cup is the second-highest by an Indian in Youth ODIs, trailing only Ambati Rayudu’s 177.

Suryavanshi became the youngest List A and Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) centurion at the age of 14 years and 272 days.

He hammered a 36-ball century against Arunachal Pradesh, which is the fourth-fastest List A hundred by an Indian.

In the same match, he scored 190 runs from 84 balls, the highest individual score by a Bihar batter in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
