034Motorsport VariSpec is a feature customization suite for B8/B8.5 & C7 EA837 3.0T, giving enthusiasts direct control over market-first features and functionalities within their tunes. Instead of being locked into a single featureset, VariSpec allows you to tailor key performance and drivability features to match your hardware, driving style, and personal preferences.
This is not just another feature drop. It is an entirely new way to interact with your Dynamic+ Tuning.
What Is VariSpec?
VariSpec is the latest technological advancement integrated directly into the 034SPI app. When selecting your files, you’ll now have the ability to customize your Dynamic+ tune feature to your preferences and desires, all within the same easy-to-use interface via mobile or laptop within 034SPI.
VariSpec will be rolled out across all 034Motorsport-supported tuning platforms throughout 2026, and is available today for the B8/B8.5 & C7 EA837 3.0T platform, with the following features:
User-Adjustable Crackle Overrun
When Racing Catalyst is selected, you can add crackles to your car with options like Mild, Spicy, or completely off. The adjustable slider allows you to select the perfect amount of crackles for you on your EA837 3.0T.
Racing Catalyst
For sanctioned racing use only. Required for ignition cut Advanced Launch Control operation in Dynamic mode. Unlocks additional exhaust-related features when selected.
Catalyst Heating
Allows users to enable or disable catalyst heating, allowing for OEM catalyst warm-up behavior, or to have a quieter, more subdued cold start.
Advanced Launch Control
User-adjustable launch control from 1500 to 5000 RPM, set directly using the cruise control stalk. This allows precise control over launches based on tire, surface, and power level.
Requires DL501 or AL551 Dynamic+ TCU Software. No additional software required for manual transmissions.
Throttle Body Upgrade Selection
Upgraded throttle bodies can now be run with any Stage of tuning, and you can specify whether you have a SüperDüper Throttle Body, INA Throttle Body, or other Hemi throttle body.
This ensures optimal throttle mapping and airflow calibration for your exact setup.
Left Foot Braking
Allows users to enable or disable Left Foot Braking. This is typically ideal for trail braking when driving on the track, allowing for better modulation mid-corner.
Forced Sport Mode
Allows users without Audi Drive Select to force sport mode on in their vehicle. Doing so will allow users to utilize ignition cut Advanced Launch Control and crackles.
