The final regular season v Belfast Harlequins in Virgin Media Park is a vital one for Dolphin- should 5th place Monkstown beat bottom side Malahide, Dolphin must defeat Belfast Harlequins to make the play offs.

With the league restructure next season, there is no promotion from Division 2C this season, however, the league champions will not be the team at the top of the table on Saturday night, but the winners of the top 4 playoffs.

Should Dolphin come 4th, they will play the top team away, and the winners of 2nd & 3rd, again away should they win the first playoff.

As we approach April it’s uncanny how quickly the rugby season has passed us by.
The men’s senior team will play their 18th and final regular season AIL game this weekend.
This rollercoaster season sees us in the playoff positions going into our final game versus Belfast Harlequins in Virgin Media Park on Saturday kicking off at 14:30.

A win will cement our playoff position, but we have a week of hard work ahead of us to prepare.

On Saturday we will have players from our minis section helping as ball carriers and the children and nieces and nephews of the players will be leading out the team. It will be a great day of rugby and family fun with some  music and food in the club house all evening and into the night.

We would love to have as many Dolphin club people out on Saturday to cheer on our men’s senior team and let the kids of the future be inspired to play our game.

See you all Saturday.
