T20 World Cup winner Virat Kohli was recently spotted at a kirtan with his wife, Anushka Sharma, at the ISKCON Temple in London. Kohli has been spending quiet time with his family in London following his responsibilities with the Indian men’s cricket team. A video on social media shows Kohli and Anushka going to the temple to pray to Lord Krishna. Anushka wore a simple white outfit, and Virat chose a casual style with a comfortable t-shirt and beige trousers.
Kohli went to London soon after joining Team India’s celebration at Marine Drive, and then attending a special event at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on July 4th. He always shows that he values his family the most. The famous player left for London on the same day he came back to India, after being with Team India in Barbados. The team was happily greeted by fans at the Delhi Airport after their long 16-hour flight from Barbados.
The Indian team had a busy day when they visited Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his home in Delhi. They then traveled from Delhi to Mumbai for a celebration event. Even though they had a very long and tiring day, including dealing with jet lag, Kohli was eager to see his family quickly. Following India’s big win, Kohli was seen talking on video with his wife and playing with his two kids, Akaay and Vamika, in a fun and silly way.
After scoring 76 runs in just 59 balls and helping India win the T20 World Cup 2024 final, Kohli said he was retiring from T20 matches for India. Kohli was honored on stage at Wankhede during a celebration event. The famous batsman thanked India’s top fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah, for always playing key roles in winning games for India.
