An Indian cricket lover is overjoyed after the cricket superstar Virat Kohli graciously decided to give him a signed bat. The fan was so excited to meet the star that he was heard saying “Waiting to see my idol Virat Kohli give me his autograph” as he stretched out his hands for Kohli to autograph the bat. Graciously, when the fan received the autograph, he was already screaming with joy saying, “I am so thankful I just got Virat Kohli’s signature. Mother I take my dream out on you. Respect for you, Mr. Kohli!”.
Kohli has been seen on different occasions with fans taking selfies, and signing autographs as this has been his practice for a long time. Fans have become fond and even dumped him for the striking soft side of the athlete. Currently, Kohli is in Pune preparing to play with New Zealand under the captaincy of Tom Latham, during the second Test which is scheduled to begin on October Twenty Four at the Maharashtra Cricket Stadium.
As for the Test match in Pune, Virat Kohli has his task cut out since India is seeking to even the series after losing the first match by eight wickets at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In the first innings of the series opener, Kohli fell as the wicket earned by pace bowler William O’Rourke.
Kohli made up for it later in the second innings, scoring a determined fifty. But on the last ball of the play of the 3rd day, he was out to Glenn Phillips. While doing this Kohli also reached the landmark of 9000 Test runs becoming only the fourth Indian after Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid.
Kohli has played 116 Tests and averages 48.74 with 9017 runs and personal best of 254 not out. The Bengaluru Test saw India losing a Test match to the New Zealand team after 36 years in the history of Tests having been played. Now, it is only a matter of time to see if Kohli will rise to the occasion and deliver impressively in Pune.
