Royal Challengers Bengaluru missed a big chance, as Virat Kohli dropped a simple catch at long-off in the ongoing IPL 2025 match against the Rajasthan Royals on Sunday, April 13, at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Suyash Sharma bowled a full delivery on the middle, and Dhruv Jurel stepped forward to loft it down the ground. But Jurel could not time it up perfectly and ended up slicing the ball towards long-off, where Virat Kohli was perfectly positioned to take the catch without any move.
It looked like a straightforward catch, but to everyone’s surprise, Kohli couldn’t hold on to it. The ball slipped out of his hands, and Jurel managed to take a single as RCB missed a golden opportunity. Kohli was clearly frustrated, as the star cricketer immediately threw the ball back in anger.
