Kohli could be seen re-enacting Sarfaraz’s action as Rishabh Pant fell onto the ground laughing.
The Indian team is busy with their penultimate preparations as they gear up for the highly-anticipated Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT), slated to start from November 22.
During a recent training session, the Indian players shared a light-hearted moment at the cost of Sarfaraz Khan. In a video that has been going viral on social media, former India skipper Virat Kohli along with wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant could be seen teasing Sarfaraz for his catching technique during a fielding drill ahead of the first Test in Perth.
In the clip, Sarfaraz Khan attempted a catch in an unconventional and comical manner, resembling the act of swatting a mosquito. Kohli could even be seen re-enacting Sarfaraz’s action as Rishabh Pant fell onto the ground laughing.

How will India’s probable playing XI look like for the series opener?
As the highly anticipated series approaches, the team management is likely to encounter several challenges ahead of the first Test. Stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah will face a tough task, as both Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are expected to miss the Perth Test. Rohit is unavailable due to personal commitments due to the birth of his second child, while Gill is sidelined with a finger injury sustained during a recent fielding session.
In light of these developments, KL Rahul is expected to open the innings alongside young talent Yashasvi Jaiswal. Virat Kohli is likely to reclaim the pivotal number three position in the batting order.
The middle-order lineup could feature Rishabh Pant and Dhruv Jurel, Nitish Kumar Reddy, with Devdutt Padikkal potentially being included depending on the match conditions.
Also, Jadeja is expected to be the only spinner in the lineup with Akash Deep, Harshit Rana and Mohammed Siraj completing the rest of the bowling attack.
