Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir with each other for an interview shared by BCCI, and in the next interview, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma will be sitting down for a discussion with the coach. Kohli joked about his captain’s memory and urged Gambhir to ask Rohit a question on whether he eats diamonds or not.
Kohli and Gambhir made discussions about a lot of topics regarding Indian cricket, in which they began by reliving the memories of the ODI World Cup 2011 finals.
Gambhir called Kohli’s knock of 183 in their run chase of 300+ in Asia Cup as one of the best ODI knocks he has ever witnessed in his life.
Kohli also reflected on taking over as the captain for India in Test cricket as a 25-year-old, along with a team of young players on a quest to become the number 1 team in the world.
“You built a solid fast bowling unit. I understand you were 24-25 when you took Test captaincy, the credit must go to you the way you formed the team at that time. Your attitude, winning overseas Tests,” said Gautam Gambhir in the BCCI interview.

In the whole interview session, Gautam Gambhir revealed that in his next chat he will invite Rohit Sharma. When the Indian coach asked Kohli what he should ask the ‘Hitman’, Kohli made a small joke.
“So Virat, the next guest is Rohit. What do you want to me, what should be the first question,” asked Gambhir.
Kohli jokingly said, “It’s a simple question, do you eat almonds in the morning?” followed by both of them bursting into laughter.
