Virender Sehwag – ODI Centuries ListsĀ (by Teams, Year, Venue, & Countries)

Virender Sehwag was an enigma on the cricket field during his playing days for the Indian cricket team.

Making his debut for India in ODI against Pakistan in 1999, Sehwag quickly went on to become an integral part of the Indian ODI and Test teams in the years to come. He played a significant role in many of Indiaā€™s victories across formats, both home and away.

Sehwag used to give India blistering starts, and that is one of the reasons why India became a force to be reckoned with in all format of the game, particularly while playing in the subcontinent.

He more often gave India a flying start, which enabled other batters to take their own time and play a big knock. This template worked for India in the mid-to-late 2000s and the early part of the 2010s.

Overall, he was a complete match-winner on his day and when he was in the mood, Sehwag made sure to take the game away from the opposition.

This article will dwell deep into each of Sehwagā€™s 15 ODI centuries.
