1930 – West Indies became the fourth country to host a Test match after Australia, England and South Africa. The first ever Test in the Caribbean was played at the Kensington Oval at Barbados when the hosts West Indies took on England in the 1st of four match series. This eventually ended in draw.

61 – The number of Tests hosted in the West Indies is 265 till date and Queen’s Park oval in Port of Spain (61) has seen the most Tests in the Caribbean Islands.

94 – Out of the 265 Tests at home, West Indies has won 94 of them and it amounts to a win percentage of 35.47 which is decent.

790/3 -This is the highest team score recorded by West Indies in an innings at home and it came at the Sabina Park in Jamaica against Pakistan in 1958.

849 – This is the highest runs conceded by West Indies in a Test innings at home. England scored a mammoth 849 versus Windies back in 1930 in Jamaica.

418 – The highest ever recorded chase in the fourth innings of a Test match came at the Antigua Recreation Ground when West Indies successfully chased down a whopping 418 set by Australia back in 2003.

47 – Similarly the lowest innings total in a Test for West Indies at home is 47 when the hosts bundled out by England at Jamaica in the 2004 series.

Innings and 219 runs – This is the biggest margin of win for West Indies at home and it came against Bangladesh at St Vivian Richards stadium in Antingua.

381 – And the highest ever margin of win by runs for West Indies at home came in a Test when they played England in 2019 at Barbados .
