What Arshdeep Singh has to say on his International Cricket career

The Indian cricket team is now in Sri Lanka for India’s tour of Sri Lanka series. The series has 3 T20I matches and 3 ODI matches. Two of the 3 T20I matches have ended with India securing victory in both games. The third match is currently underway at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka. Read on to know what Arshdeep Singh has to say on his International Cricket career as India plays the 3rd T20I in India’s tour of Sri Lanka.

The first match of the tournament witnessed team India winning the match by 43 runs. The second match too, was a single sided win. India defeated the hosts by 7 wickets by the DLS method. Sri Lanka won the toss in the third match, and opted to bowl first.

Arshdeep Singh opens up about his International Cricket journey

Indian bowler Arshdeep Singh has been nothing short of exemplary i’m his performances so far. The bowler has shown his worth in the recent T20 World Cup 2024 and is very reliable to the team.

Young Arshdeep made his much anticipated debut for India in England in 2022. This was for a T20I series as well. Speaking on his journey before the match, Arshdeep highlighted his liking towards high pressure situations. He also spoke of his love for the country.

“I am very grateful, you always dream to play for your country and I have received a lot of support. like the pressure, I like tough situations and I want to perform in those situations. I try new variations – sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, I focus on the process and not results.” Arshdeep said.

“I have been lucky enough to play with great bowlers like Bhuvi, Bumarh and now Siraj as well. The vibe (in the team) is really nice. he environment is very light, we are having fun, we are having each others’ back.” He added.
