The second season of Major League Cricket has reached the playoffs stage, and we are only five games away to see the winner of MLC 2024. What is the difference between MLC 2023 and MLC 2024 playoffs?
Four teams – Washington Freedom, San Francisco Unicorns, Texas Super Kings and MI New York, qualified for the playoffs this season.
The defending champions struggled a bit this edition and after winning only a game after six outings, they were needed to chase the target in 18.2 overs against Los Angeles Knight Riders in order to book their berth, and they chased it down the target of 131 in 17 overs to grab the last qualifying berth.

What’s the difference between MLC 2023 and MLC 2024 playoffs?
Three teams have repeated the success of their last year’s performance and again reached the Major League Cricket Playoffs in the second season.
The only difference in the two playoffs is the inclusion of San Francisco Unicorns in the final top 4, while Seattle Orcas, who ended the league stage at top spot last season, failed to qualify this time.

MLC 2024 Playoffs Schedule
The playoffs of Major League Cricket will commence from Wednesday, July 25 according to IST.
Texas Super Kings will take on MI New York in the eliminator clash, while Washinton Freedom and San Francisco Unicorns will face off in the qualifier game.
The team that wins the qualifier will directly advance to of Major League Cricket 2024 final. While the losing side from qualifier clash will play the challenger against the winner of the eliminator clash will make it to the final.
